Dear America,

They descended upon the city with chains and leather gloves and executed a coordinated attack on the people. Funded with taxpayer dollars, they took property without adequate notice or due process—an assault.

The past weekend’s snow needed plowing, without doubt. But towing the city’s residents’ transportation without adequate notice is an abomination of the city’s coffers.

The attack was carried out with precision: a row of ten-ton trucks, a half-mile long. Flatbed trailers followed suit, all with a lights-on police escort.

I am appalled—simply and utterly.
